The first meeting of AANW was convened in Melbourne in 2004, and has traditionally been held as a satellite meeting of the annual Australasian Neuroscience Society (ANS) Conference.
Since its beginning, the meeting has grown and is now attended by researchers from across Australia, New Zealand and the globe.
The meeting is a great opportunity to gather and discuss new scientific developments in the field of auditory neuroscience. In particular, the meeting aims to provide emerging researchers – doctoral students and postdoctoral trainees – a friendly forum in which to present their work and receive constructive feedback from senior scientists in the field. Please encourage your students and EMCRs to submit an abstract to present in 2025.
The 2025 AANW meeting is honoured to host Prof Charles Limb from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) presenting the keynote lecture.
